All The Perfect Hedge server computers are physically located in secure data center sites belonging to FINCAD, its Alliance Partners or at secure customer sites. Customers of The Perfect Hedge may choose between the use of "http" or "https" (using SSL - Secured Sockets Layer) as the data transmission protocol over the Internet.
The SSL security protocol allows client/server applications to communicate in a way that is designed to prevent eavesdropping, tampering, or message forgery. It provides fully secure, encrypted transmission of data coupled with the use of Server Certificates for authentication, if desired.
The Perfect Hedge provides data organization, secure storage and administrative control services over the use and distribution of your enterprise data.
Direct access to server databases is not available. Access to persistent data is only possible through the secure object layer. The end result is a level of security, organization and control over you organization's data that can exceed what can be accomplished using traditional less rigorous methods of managing data security.
