Vancouver, BC - July 24th, 2013
FINCAD, the leading provider of OTC derivatives pricing and risk management solutions, is pleased to announce that the Polytechnic Institute of the University of New York (NYU-Poly) has joined FINCAD's Academic Endowment Program. FINCAD will be donating 320 complimentary licenses of the FINCAD Analytics Suite for Excel. By relying on FINCAD's proven software suite, students in NYU-Poly's Master of Science in Financial Engineering program will augment their prestigious preparation to join the professional ranks of the financial industry.
Access to Professional Software for NYU-Poly Graduate Students
Faculty members said they are excited about the software donation because it will allow them to incorporate exercises and activities using industry-leading software. "Our master of science program provides a solid preparation for careers in trading, investment, risk management, financial services and more," said Adjunct Professor Victor Makarov, of the Finance and Risk Engineering Department. "Financial professionals use FINCAD daily, and are increasingly expecting new recruits to have FINCAD knowledge as part of their technical skill set. Thanks to FINCAD's generous donation, our students will enjoy early access to the software, enhancing their academic and professional development."
Comprehensive Software for Valuation and Risk Management
The FINCAD software suite provides cross-asset coverage of various derivatives and fixed income instruments in multiple interfaces and platforms.
