Mike Brooks Joins FINCAD as Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer

FINCAD, the market leader for innovative derivatives solutions in the financial industry, is pleased to announce that Mike Brooks has joined FINCAD as Sr. Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer and member of the Executive. He brings to FINCAD more than 15 year' experience in the software industry in Vancouver.

Brooks holds an MBA from UBC and an Engineering degree from Queen's University. He brings several years as an executive consultant advising small & mid-size technology companies and prior to that was Vice President of Corporate Development at Business Objects. In this role he was responsible for identifying, negotiating and integrating corporate acquisitions; helping build and execute strategy and business plans and driving executive decision making. Brooks joined Business Objects through its acquisition of Crystal Decisions where he progressed through a number of leadership roles in partner and business development. He has over 15 years of experience in OEM, strategic alliances, partnering strategy, product management and corporate development creating and driving strategies to enter new markets and accelerate market share and revenues.
