Shadow Financial Systems Leverages FINCAD Analytics to Extend its Derivative Coverage

Shadow Financial joins the FINCAD Alliance Program

FINCAD and Shadow Financial Systems announced today that Shadow Financial has joined the FINCAD Alliance Program. This agreement enables users of Shadow Financial's ShadowSuite application to leverage FINCAD's industry standard derivative pricing library to independently value derivative positions during their post trade processing and clearing operations.

ShadowSuite is a highly scalable on-premise installed software solution for post-trade processing, reconciliation, clearing, settlement, treasury and accounting. ShadowSuite will initially leverage FINCAD's analytics library to expand its swaps module by adding the ability to value Floors, Caps, Collars, Straddles and Swaptions.

FINCAD's comprehensive, cross-asset class analytics library provides Shadow Financial with the advantage of using an industry standard source to value and measure the risk of a wide variety of financial securities and derivatives. It offers complete transparency, enabling users to verify every part of their valuation and risk calculations.
