SSL Encryption
The Perfect Hedge is a secure web-based product with SSL encryption ("https"), providing fully secure, encrypted transmission of data coupled with the use of Server Certificates for authentication, if required. All The Perfect Hedge servers are physically located in secure data centers belonging to FINCAD, its Alliance Partners, or at secure client sites.
Secure Access & Control
The Perfect Hedge provides data organization, secure storage, and administrative control services for the use and distribution of your enterprise data. Direct access to server databases is not available. Access to persistent data is only possible through the secure object layer. The end result is a level of security, organization, and control over your organization's data that exceeds traditional methods of managing data security.
Flexible Administration
The Perfect Hedge provides delegated multi-enterprise security and administration tools, where administrators in your organization have complete control of how they manage user access. As an administrator, you have the ability to:
- Create multiple administration accounts for use throughout your organization to share the work, or manage and control user access.
- Organize users in workgroups to direct how people share information and collaborate.
- Authorize developers to use The Perfect Hedge APIs to automate the collection, preparation and contribution of market data and transaction data, automate server-side calculations, and retrieve results.
The technology supporting The Perfect Hedge provides a rich platform for the development of applications that support the secure sharing and collaboration of business object information over the Internet and between users, subject to organization policies. The system controls all access to data and checks user credentials to ensure they are delivered only the data that their organization's administrators have authorized them to see and use.
