Community Service

We want to improve the communities where we live and work and also, to the extent possible, give back to the communities around the globe that purchase our products and services.

FINCAD's community service initiatives include educational and industry-oriented activities as well as supporting community focused activities of our employees.

Community Service

FINCAD supports education, community enrichment and other efforts where FINCAD people are qualified and able to make a difference.

The FINCAD HOPE program was created with the purpose of giving back to the community.  Our goals are to balance philanthropic, charitable, and volunteer efforts for the purpose of maximizing long-term benefits while also addressing short-term needs.

The name of the program reflects our Giving Philosophy:  (Helping Other People Effectively)

The FINCAD HOPE committee is a volunteer committee made up of employees who run the program. The purpose of the FINCAD HOPE team is to maximize the impact of these efforts wherever we can by organizing and concentrating our efforts on specific charitable and philanthropic projects. 

• Volunteering -FINCAD provides its employees with paid days off to perform volunteer work.  FINCAD HOPE researches organizations for suitable projects then matches the need with talents inside the company to recruit appropriate volunteers
• Fundraising & Charitable donations - Regular fundraising efforts for the food bank, international disaster relief, and special projects (i.e. Christmas Bureau, and the "Fair Start Backpack Program")

The FINCAD HOPE program assists people in need both in our local community as well as globally.

Industry Programs

FINCAD also supports higher standards of professionalism in financial management by providing the Western Canadian site and proctors for the annual Financial Risk Manager certification examination administered by the Global Association of Risk Professionals, a leading global association of more than 40,000 financial risk management professionals.

We are also active members of the BC Technology Industries Association and the Fraser Valley Technology Network and participate regularly in events and initiatives sponsored by other technology industry and financial industry groups.
